My answer: it depends.

Social media algorithms are changing all the time. While many social media scheduling platforms suggest "optimal posting times" based on previous audience behavior, it's important to keep in mind that while while these suggestions may be helpful, they are general.

The best way to decide when to post is to analyze YOUR specific audience trends. Most social media platforms now offer their own versions of analytics reporting that can help you. While this data can seem overwhelming at first, keeping an eye on it is critical. Numbers don't lie - these reports can help you spot trends, see when your audience is most active and engaged (or not so active and engaged), and help plan your social media strategy.

It's totally okay to switch things up, too. If you see that one piece of content didn't perform as well as would have liked, test it or something similar at a different time. And remember: a great piece of content should perform well no matter when or where you post it.
